Gear
box series for lighting
The
gear box is a solid case made from iron or aluminum, and also provides a base
for fixing ballast, ignitor and capacitor in it.
The lighting gear boxes can be classified, by different applications, like
indoor use with model number IP20 and outdoor use with model number IP23, IP65.
They are also classified, by case types, as electrolytic iron box (for indoor or
outdoor use), the aluminium case for indoor use and the die-casting aluminium
case for outdoor use.
They can be even classified by the installation ways, like that with a mark of
“Grant to directly install on the surface of flammable material" printed on the
label of it, and that with or without a mark of "Do not install on the surface
of flammable material”.
