HID ballast materials,designed
according to Class H (180℃) insulation material
requirements, are tested by our online computerized inspection system, and
especially a 100% testing on winding insulation. The automatic digital control
winding process, automatic assembling pattern and automatic soldering assure a
quality and precision manufacturing.
As our major
product, full model of lighting ballasts, ranging from the smallest wattage to
the biggest wattage, makes us the one of the biggest ballast manufacturing bases
in the world. These ballasts include many special models like ones for high
pressure sodium lamp, ones for metal halide lamp and ones for mercury vapor
lamp, etc.
The HQ ballasts feature stable performance, compact structure and long service
life. They have passed the German TUV Rheinland TW130℃
service life test , that testing result assures that Huaquan's ballast
can continuously work in an aggressive condition for as long as 10 years, while
with winding temperature at 130℃.
A
related life prediction design diagram indicates that the service life of
Huaquan HID ballast may lasts over 50 years, if the ballast operates at normal
ambient temperature of 40℃. As a rule, every 10℃
raise, above maximum winding temperature 130℃, will
short its service life in half. Besides, the winding temperature is a sum of
ambient temperature plus temperature rise (△t).
And the temperature rise is the result of ballast’s power consumption. Customers
can select right model by desired service life in his application.

have passed the IEC standards, certification tests, performance and
configuration tests with CCC、CE、TUV、CB
, and energy-saving certifications.
Furthermore, our CWA & HX HID ballasts are designed with insulation systems
Class N 200℃ or Class H 180℃.
It is vacuum-impregnated to enhance the electric insulation, anti-corrosion, low
noise and good heat dissipation. The model of Class N system can bear a high
temperature up to 185℃ maximum winding temperature(by
resistor testing method ) and 150℃( by thermocouple
testing method ) . The steel cores of the models are specially designed for
better combining and electrical uniformity with the slots on each other, and
another unique design for automatic combining of laminated steel sheets each
other. The models of CWA & HX HID ballasts are also UL and CUL certified and
have passed the UL performance and configuration test.
